Children who get Flu Vaccine have 3x risk of Hospitalization for flu
The inactivated flu vaccine does not appear to be effective in preventing influenza-related hospitalizations in children, especially for children with asthma. In fact, children who get the flu vaccine are 3x at risk of hospitalization than those who do not, according to new research from the International Conference of American Thoracic Society, 19 May 2009.
